Michel - General Manager and Pilot

Michel has done his Private Pilot training in Yverdon, Switzerland where he got his Private Pilot Certificate.
For professional reasons, he moved to Australia for a long period, and then take advantage of that to discover the country also by the air.

After his return, Michel did the training to obtain the ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) under JAR legislation. The JAR legislation rules the majority of European countries. But his curiosity leaded him to fly further than it is normally required, and even as a Swiss pilot, he flew often in Italy, France and Germany. The Alps are very well known for him.

After that, Michel went to the USA, to be precise in Seattle, where he got his Private-Commercial-Instrument and Multiengine Certificate under FAA. The FAA legislation rules only the USA. To gain a maximum of experience, Michel with a friend did an incredible trip.

The goal was to fly 200 hours in only one country in the shortest time possible and at the less expensive cost. The USA was for that the best country. The trip started in Seattle, and Michel took off with a Diamond DA-40. To give just an high level overview, the trip passed to Nampa, ID, MilesCIty, MO, Custer, ND, Goshen, IN, Waxhaw, NC, Richmond, VA, Mobile, AL, Page, AZ, Fresno, CA and back.

22000 NM, 165 Airport visited, 35 States overflown, 200 hours of flight, many people met . . .

                . . . and not a single problem!
